Well what can I say about this wedding … Relaxed yet manic …
On the few meetings I had with Lee and Sarah I knew this day was going to be far from ordinary, at arriving at St Peters Church, Bournemouth, I was greeted by calm .. Lee was ready and waiting finishing a few little details whilst starting to get a little bit nervous ..
Lee then disappeared and I had a mild panic attack that I couldn’t find him anywhere, but my fear was quickly interrupted by the arrival of Darth Vader and 2 Storm Troopers … yes you read that right … Lee is part of the UK Garrison and had arranged for a few members to be able to join them on their big day .. Great touch
Anyway back to the missing groom … Luckily he had decided to arrive in style .. in nothing other that ‘General Lee’ from Dukes of Hazard .. amazing .. and a relief he hadn’t run off ..
Sarah arrived soon after in a cream Mustang which was again amazing, and decided to walk down the aisle without the vicar knowing she had arrived, this threw everything out of order and the vicar was very confused 🙂 ..
After a lovely service, the newly married couple headed outside to be greeted with bubbles .. I love this idea, especially as I’m not picking confetti out of the brides hair for the next 20 minutes 😉 …
After a few group shots the bridal party headed to Coy Pond, Branksome for some more informal casual shots and those all important bride and groom moments …
I then joined the happy couple later in the evening for their reception at Kayla restaurant, Bournemouth .. With the final act of the evening being the first dance … Lee and Sarah wanted to raise more money for charity so opted to do a sponsored first dance .. They choose the Birdy Song … Fantastic!!!
